Credo secures long-term supply commitments with foundry and component partners; management claims 'very close relationship' with supply chain partners and confidence in 3nm allocation for 200G products

Bill Brennan· Credo Technology· AI· 2026-06-01· about Credo Technology (CRDO)
Got an extremely close relationship with our supply chain partners, and I think there is a strong understanding that clusters do not get built. Without the small complementary connectivity chips that we build... I feel quite good. I mentioned on the last call that I feel good about our position, and it is really based on the fact that this is something that over the last 5 years, we have invested heavily.

Why it matters

Credo's claimed foundry relationship strength and strategic positioning as critical to cluster infrastructure may provide allocation priority during capacity constraints, creating a competitive moat vs. other fabless companies.

Investment implication

TSMC should confirm (or deny) whether connectivity chip makers receive priority allocation during constraints. If confirmed, Credo's competitive position is defensible; if denied, supply risk rises significantly.
